..Three Peas In a Pod..: Happy August!

August is full of celebrations in our house! We started the month off with our 2nd anniversary! I know married couples say, "it's hard to believe we've been married for 25 years- it seems like just yesterday".... and you always think "yadda..yadda..yadda - so cliché"..but, I totally get it now! So, let me start off by saying..I can't believe it's been two years :) My how life has changed in just two short years..it just gets better and better :) Someday Luke and I will be waking up and saying "Happy 50th Anniversary"..and then we will go downstairs, or in the other room- because I am SURE we will be in a retirement ranch..haha, make our daily routine breakfast of one egg white with half a piece of toast, Luke will be reading the newspaper, tuning me out, as I jab his ear off about our wedding day way back when..and then we'll just continue our daily routine. I can see it now!

We were able to go out to dinner and a movie on Saturday ALONE to celebrate (thanks Mom and Dad for babysitting..it was a win-win situation, and we certainly didn't need to twist their arm). We kind of laughed on our way to dinner, because we were so excited to be out "like the old days", when 2 months ago..dinner and a movie was SO typical. We ate at the Allen Street Bar and Grill, which is centrally located downtown State College, and it looks over the prettiest part of PSU. To Luke's luck, there was a car show cruise, and the restaurant is on the 2nd floor overlooking the street. So, I am sure you can guess what our conversation was about ;) Seriously, it was so nice, though! Then, Luke scrounged up two 1 dollar bills, and we went to the dollar movie theatre! :) We had a great night!
