Lets see..where to begin?
Jack is becoming SO fun! I could sit and watch him smile and laugh all day long (sometimes that IS what happens). He is addicting! My mom said it best when she said that he smiles with his whole body...such a ham! He is giggling and cooing back when spoken to, which I love because I have someone to "talk" to all day while Luke is at work! I put away all of his 0-3 month clothes this week (tear)...we are on to 3-6 month clothes. Sadly, most of his cute clothes were 0-3..his 6 month wardrobe is scarce! I guess we will have to go shopping soon! I hate to buy him more summer clothes, because it is going to be getting cool soon, but who knows with this weirdo PA weather we have been having this summer. I FINALLY have him napping 2x a day in his crib.. Let's just say it was A LOT of work..up and down the stairs 30 times each nap..but, I think we finally have the hang of a long nap. He has been sleeping 5-6 hour increments at night, but that too has taken some training. I was pretty exhausted this week, and have been going to bed with him..around 7:45, this entire weekend. I feel refreshed, and am hoping that we keep the sleep pattern up! Once I finally figure him out, he changes....bracing for the 11 week challenges.
Luke has been trying to figure out if he is going to be training him as a running back or a linebacker..haha! He thinks he might get some of our families tall genes...I am thinking "in your dreams". We joke that (IF Jack ends up tall) at his highschool graduation, we'll be posing for a picture with Jack sandwiched between us, and our arms will barely reach around his neck....short- tall - short. It is a funny mental image. Anyways, Luke brought tears to my eyes when discussing Jack's position as a football player because he said.. "it doesn't matter how big he is, because he is going to have what matters - heart - and you can't teach heart"...uhhh... I'll never forget that... it made me remember why I married him! :) OK..enough of the sappy sap..
Hanging out in the bumbo while Mom cleans the kitchen...
He bobbles around, but loves the Bumbo (10 minute max- so I have to clean fast!)
Of courrseee the smiley picture is blurry!
So fresh and so clean- clean!
"You better put that camera away..no nakey pictures, palease!"
Catching WAY up to that bear at 10 weeks!
Ok..enough already - exhausted!
(Look how cute his little cargo shorts are! I bought them at BabyGap when he was first born and thought they were pants because they went PAST his ankles. )
